Wisconsin preview on the way tonight; in the meantime, here’s some good stuff from around the intertubes to keep you entertained:
- I really dug this little post about Kirk Cousins from Eric at Spartan Football expounding upon a nugget from The Only Colors.
- Steve Grinczel: Mark Dantonio is a “builder-upper.” Which is certainly preferably, say, to a self-face-slapper.
- In recruiting news, the Freep informs us that Loganville, Georgia running back Storm Johnson will be on campus for the Michigan game. He’s ranked the #25 running back in his class and his name is Storm. I hereby declare him a can’t-miss prospect.
- As if we didn’t have enough to worry about, Joe Rexrode points out that MSU’s kickoff coverage has been pretty damn bad, and Badger kick returner David Gilreath has been pretty damn good.
- Madison.com gives us an outside perspective on the Spartans. (Off topic, but I couldn’t help but click this link in the “most read” box to the right of the MSU article, too; I think the lesson there is, if you’re heading to Madison for the game, steer clear of Wiggie’s Bar.)
- The Rivalry, Esq. ranks Big Ten quarterbacks through three weeks; Kirk Cousins fares well.
- Finally, thanks to LVS at The Only Colors for the nice words and the link; much appreciated. To those of you visiting the site for the first time, welcome. Feedback is always welcome in the comments or via email at spartanblog -at- gmail.com. Kick your feet up and stay a while.
